About The Position

This position will involve attending the TCAT program provided by Nissan to earn a certification in Industrial Maintenance & Controls. Classes will be held during the afternoon shift. The program is designed to last approximately 27 months, and upon completion, the individual will transition into a Maintenance Technician role. As part of this role, the individual will work in a team environment to provide production equipment support, production data control, and facility operations support through equipment troubleshooting, continuous improvement activities, and preventive and predictive maintenance. Additionally, the individual will implement modifications to support equipment changes in assigned areas. They will also provide support to engineering during the installation and modification of process equipment, while communicating with technical support resources to aid troubleshooting efforts and improve production equipment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for hands-on learning and professional development in the field of Industrial Electrical Maintenance and Mechatronics, with direct application to real-world production systems.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Creation of SOS, procedures, and One Point Lessons for major repetitive tasks, developing standards specifying the end product and the resources needed for these tasks.
  • Maintenance database additions and updates, providing information to assist in troubleshooting and daily maintenance tasks.
  • Electrical and mechanical drawing review and correction markup.
  • Circuit Change Proposals.
  • Root Cause Analysis.
  • Preparation of Major Breakdown Reports.
  • Assisting manufacturing with productivity, ergonomic, quality, and safety issues to ensure timely problem resolution.
  • I/O operation and equipment function checks for new equipment.
  • Installation work.
  • Equipment programming modifications, including PLC, robot, servo, vision, and temperature controllers.
  • Equipment troubleshooting and corrective maintenance.
  • Preventive and Predictive Maintenance, along with 5S activities.
  • Participation in continuous improvement efforts, including instructional presentations, breakdown presentations, and sharing knowledge to support department programs.
  • Conducting safety audits.
