About The Position

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. With the 1+2 Industrial Maintenance Training Program, you can get paid while learning a trade. Students in the program complete a 12-month Industrial maintenance training program, working half a day at the Council Bluffs Case Ready facility and attending school half a day at Iowa Western Community College (IWCC). The employee commits to working full-time in the maintenance department at the Council Bluffs Case Ready facility for a minimum period of two (2) continuous years upon successful completion of the program. The successful candidate must be willing to work any shift upon completion of the training program; must be able to work holidays, weekends, and nights.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Must be willing to work any shift upon completion of the training program.
Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and nights.

Prior mechanical training or experience.
