Under limited supervision, the Industrial Journeyman Electrician is responsible for installing, calibrating, and testing electronic manufacturing devices and systems. Utilizing Ladder Logic and other automation system program language, this role troubleshoots electronic systems and peripherals to ensure proper functionality. CoorsTek products and components enable technological solutions across virtually every industry, from simple items like beverage dispensers and light switches to high-tech items like cell phones and satellites. Requirements

  • Associates Degree in electronics/technical field
  • 4 years of journeyman level electrical experience.
  • Demonstrates basic proficiency in the use and maintenance of a large variety of tools.
  • Performs detailed oriented tasks using intermediate language skills and math skills.
  • Required to have basic knowledge of AC/DC circuits.
  • Advance knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) operation and programming
  • Ability to navigate Building Management Systems (BMS) system to operate and quickly understand system issues.
  • Must have knowledge of machining and electronic/electrical manufacturing equipment.
  • Must be able to work with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds

Responsibilities

  • Solve electronic system problems by interpreting manufacturers' manuals or similar documents.
  • Assisting electrical / automation engineers with developing technical solutions related to the operation and performance of electronic devices and systems
  • Diagnose and repair electrical; power & control systems
  • Following preventative maintenance plans, inspect and maintain electrical equipment under their control.
  • Assists in the integration of factory automation equipment and the construction of new specialized machines.
  • Troubleshoot complex programs and logic diagrams facilitating the construction of new automation and specialized machinery.
  • Assists and/or performs in any and all areas as assigned.
  • May work any and all shifts/days as required.
