About The Position
Technical Diagnostic Services (TDS), a TechPro Power Group company, is seeking skilled Industrial Instrument Fitters for a large industrial construction project in Southeast Texas. TDS has over 25 years of experience providing industry-leading service solutions for mechanical, electrical, and controls systems in the Power Generation, Oil & Gas/ Petrochemical, and Heavy Process markets. This role involves installing and assembling industrial instrumentation and related infrastructure, ensuring safe and efficient operation of plant systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Instrumentation Fitter in an industrial environment with a focus on the assembly/ construction, and installation of heavy industrial instrumentation & controls equipment piping/ tubing.
- Strong electrical aptitude, understanding of power systems and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel to various project sites within the U.S.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
- Previous Instrument Fitting/ Pipefitting expertise within an Oil & Gas/ Petrochemical facility.
- Knowledge of industry-specific electrical code, regulations, and/or standards.

Responsibilities
- Installing stainless/carbon steel pipe and tube fitting for the plants I&C systems and related electrical equipment.
- Assembling, constructing, and installing industrial instrumentation & related infrastructure that measures, controls, records, indicates, and transmits data according to specifications.
- Safely using hand and power tools, metering equipment, and precision instruments.
- Collaborating with team members to complete projects within defined timelines.
- Following safety protocols and adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Maintaining accurate records of work performed and materials used.
