About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Industrial Inside Sales Representative to support our industrial customer base through quotations, material sourcing, order management, and customer support. This role is responsible for managing projects from initial quote through final delivery while ensuring exceptional customer service and consistent communication throughout the process. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. Success in this position requires strong problem-solving skills, a sense of urgency, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and master distributors.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Previous inside sales experience preferred
PVF (Pipe, Valves, and Fittings) industry experience strongly preferred
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to work with urgency in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver customer quotations based on project specifications and requirements
Source materials through vendor and distributor relationships
Manage projects from order placement through delivery, including expediting and shipment tracking
Provide proactive customer communication regarding order status, lead times, and project updates
Resolve issues related to shortages, delays, returns, credits, and other post-order activities
Maintain accurate project documentation and records
Collaborate internally and externally to ensure customer expectations and deadlines are met
Effectively prioritize and manage multiple active projects simultaneously
