About The Position

The Industrial Hygiene Worker is responsible for executing the sanitation process as dictated by the site, taking direction from the Supervisor for tasks related to a safe and effective sanitation process. This role ensures the successful execution of the sanitization process as outlined by the quality department. Requirements

Ability to execute sanitation processes
Ability to follow directions from Supervisor
Ability to follow SSOPs
Ability to perform ATP swabbing tests
Ability to prepare rooms according to instructions
Ability to handle and dispense chemicals according to procedures
Ability to complete site-specific training
Ability to identify and report mechanical issues
Understanding of proper PPE utilization
Understanding of Food Safety and Quality responsibilities
Ability to report Food Safety and Quality problems
Adherence to company policies, general manufacturing, and safety practices

Responsibilities

Assembly and disassembly of equipment in accordance with SSOPs
Satisfactorily complete SSOPs on equipment in accordance with all quality requirements and ATP swabbing tests
Take direction regarding room preparation and execute according to instructions
Handle and dispense chemicals according to procedures
Complete required site-specific training as applicable
Identify and report mechanical issues to the Sanitation Manager
Understand the proper utilization of all PPE associated with the sanitization process
Perform other duties as assigned
Ensure Food Safety and Quality within their influence
Report, in a timely manner, Food Safety and Quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action on those problems
Follow all company policies including but not limited to general manufacturing and safety practices
