Requirements

  • DOSH CAC certification; CDPH LRC ST or LRC Inspector/Assessor.
  • Valid driver’s license; DISA drug/alcohol testing eligibility; reliable transportation.
  • Experience with asbestos, lead, and mold surveys; exposure assessments; hazardous materials oversight.
  • Strong technical inspection and writing skills; proficiency with Microsoft applications.
  • Knowledge of Industrial Hygiene and Building Sciences sampling equipment, protocols, and applicable regulations.
  • Ability to wear PPE; climb stairs/ladders; lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to travel within Northern CA; up to 50% travel; up to 25% nights/weekends.

  • Associate degree, Bachelor's degree, or certificate in project planning, management, environmental sciences, engineering, construction, architecture, industrial hygiene, occupational health or a related science field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct asbestos, lead-based paint, and other hazardous materials surveys and collect environmental and personal samples
  • Provide asbestos and lead-based paint oversight during remediation activities.
  • Prepare and review reports, including methodology, results, recommendations, and required signatures.
  • Document field activities through notes, photographs, survey forms, chain-of-custody documents, and sample location maps.
  • Use, calibrate, maintain, and operate standard field equipment and instruments.
  • Follow health and safety policies and company standards; communicate with project teams and clients; travel to sites and work off-hours as required while maintaining regulatory knowledge and participating in training.
