Industrial HVAC Service Technician
About The Position
D&L LLC is an industrial HVAC, mechanical, and sheet metal contractor supporting manufacturing, commercial, and mission-critical facilities across the Southeast. Our work includes maintenance, service, construction, shutdown support, and engineered solutions that help customers keep essential systems operating safely, reliably, and efficiently. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will play an important role in keeping customer equipment operating reliably and supporting the day-to-day needs of commercial and industrial facilities. This is a hands-on field position for an experienced HVAC professional who enjoys troubleshooting problems, working across a variety of systems, and taking pride in quality workmanship. The right candidate brings strong technical skills, a dependable work ethic, and a responsive, customer-focused approach to every service call.
Requirements
- 3+ years of HVAC service experience in commercial or industrial settings
- Strong troubleshooting experience across mechanical, electrical, and control systems in HVAC service work
- Hands-on experience servicing RTUs, package units, and split systems
- Commitment to safe field service practices
- EPA Universal certification
- Must be eligible to work in the United States

- Experience mentoring entry-level technicians
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC equipment and systems
- Perform preventive maintenance and service on HVAC equipment and related mechanical systems
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related issues
- Identify equipment problems and recommend appropriate repairs or solutions
- Respond to customer service calls and address equipment issues in a timely manner
- Complete service work safely, efficiently, and according to D&L quality standards
- Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members
- Document service work, equipment conditions, parts used, and repairs performed
- Follow company safety procedures and customer-specific jobsite requirements
