PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading Consumer Retail Industry organization to hire an experienced Facilities Technician. If you're a skilled industrial or commercial maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting, repairs, and improving facility operations, this is your opportunity to make a daily impact in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years of general maintenance, facilities, construction, or related trade experience (or equivalent education/experience combination)
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, flooring repairs, and carpentry
- Experience safely operating hand and power tools
- Strong troubleshooting, organization, and customer service skills
- Ability to operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT)
Nice To Haves
- Commercial facilities maintenance experience
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and facility improvements
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, plumbing, carpentry, welding, lighting, and pneumatic system issues
- Read and complete work orders using a CMMS system
- Maintain rack systems, guardrails, tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and safety programs
- Assist fellow technicians with equipment repairs and maintenance
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
