About The Position

This role is for an Industrial Facilities Engineering Waste Water Treatment Technician working the E Shift, from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday. The primary objective is to provide cultural leadership by exemplifying core values, coordinating and performing equipment preventative maintenance, repairs, and improvements, and managing contractors. The technician will offer technical guidance to other technicians, be involved in SOP development and training, and support root cause investigations and solution implementation. This position requires technical expertise in ultra-pure water conversion, including processes, equipment, and instrumentation, as well as various treatment systems like chlorination, reclaim systems, ultra-filter sanitizations, ion exchange regeneration, HF neutralization, industrial waste neutralization, RO membranes, carbon filters, cation and anion exchange, mixed beds, vacuum degas, UV light systems, and ozone sterilization. Responsibilities also include coordinating outfall sampling, partnering with ESH for wastewater treatment and regulations, and managing chemical deliveries, storage, and inventory. The role involves ensuring site uptime and equipment reliability, maintaining chemical inventory with FIFO, temperature monitoring, hazardous waste handling, and resist canister changes. The technician will also maintain supply and quality parameters of chemical and slurry distributions, perform drum/tote/isotainer chemical offloading, batch processing, SPC chart monitoring, and chemical sampling. Maintaining equipment uptime through maintenance and troubleshooting of system components like valves, filters, piping, pumps, and instrumentation is crucial. The ability to operate system equipment via HMI for batch creation/distribution, monitor and operate HVAC equipment, and respond to key equipment like boilers, cooling towers, and chillers for cleanroom operations is required. Other key equipment includes scrubber systems, fire systems, vacuum, and compressed air. The technician will operate the DI water plant, perform system rounds, rotate equipment, work within defined technical processes, initiate and drive continuous improvements, uphold area upkeep and 5S principles, and operate heavy machinery like forklifts and pallet jacks. Collaboration across departments and escalating issues as required are also part of the role, along with completing assigned preventative maintenance tasks and record-keeping/reporting.
