About The Position

The Plant Engineering Site Services Technician (E Shift: 8 am – 4 pm, Monday-Friday) will provide cultural leadership by exemplifying core values. This role involves coordinating, planning, and performing equipment preventative maintenance, repairs, and improvements. The technician will also manage contractors, provide technical guidance to other technicians, and be directly involved in SOP development and training. A key aspect of this position is supporting root cause investigations and implementing solutions. The role requires technical expertise in site services including construction, office renovations, landscaping, utilities, general infrastructure, and semiconductor cleanrooms. Additionally, the technician will be a technical expert for cleanroom characterization using tools like particle counters, manometer, laminarity test streamers, and surface resistivity meters. Responsibilities include leak scanning, measuring air velocity, air laminarity, pressure differentials, particle counts, and electrostatic measurements. The ability to identify risk points within a cleanroom, mitigate them, and develop repair plans is crucial. The role also involves the unloading and receipt of chemical deliveries, their storage, and reviewing certificates of analysis. Developing annual plans for equipment areas and capital planning, ensuring site uptime and equipment reliability, managing chemical inventory (FIFO), hazardous waste handling, and performing resist canister changes are also key duties. Maintaining supply and quality parameters of chemical and slurry distributions, and maintaining equipment uptime through maintenance and troubleshooting of system equipment (valves, filters, piping, pressure vacuum vessels, pumps, instrumentation) are essential. The technician will operate system equipment via HMI for batch creation/distribution, monitor and operate HVAC equipment (boilers, cooling towers, chillers), and respond to key equipment like scrubber systems, fire systems, vacuum, and compressed air. Operating the DI water plant, performing system rounds, rotating equipment, working within defined technical processes, initiating continuous improvements, and upholding area upkeep and 5S principles are also part of the role. The ability to operate heavy machinery (forklift, pallet jack), collaborate cross-departmentally, escalate issues as required, complete preventative maintenance tasks, and perform record-keeping and reporting are necessary.
