About The Position

Imagine starting your day with a quick scan of the maintenance dashboard, checking yesterday’s logs, and prioritizing preventive work orders before the first production run. As our Industrial Equipment Reliability Mechanic, you’ll keep our facility’s machines and building systems running smoothly—diagnosing issues, fixing problems on the fly, and preventing downtime across the operation.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications in mechanical or industrial maintenance preferred.
  • 3–5 years of maintenance mechanic experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on strength across industrial machinery, electrical systems, and HVAC.
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues independently.
  • Solid knowledge of maintenance safety procedures and standards.
  • Comfort reading and applying technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing physical tasks throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

  • Execute preventive maintenance to maximize uptime of plant equipment and machinery.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC challenges—fast and safely.
  • Respond to urgent service calls to reduce disruption to production.
  • Inspect building systems and equipment regularly to spot wear, hazards, or performance drift.
  • Repair and maintain conveyors, pumps, motors, and other core mechanical systems.
  • Install or assist with installation of new machines and facility equipment.
  • Document maintenance activities thoroughly, including diagnostics, repairs, inspections, and parts usage.
  • Partner with the Facilities Manager to build out maintenance schedules and manage spare parts inventory.
  • Handle general facility repairs—doors, windows, walls, lighting—to keep the environment safe and reliable.
  • Coordinate with production, warehousing, and other teams to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely.
  • Ensure every task meets safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
