About The Position

Imagine Your Day in Muncie, IN 47302 You arrive, pull up yesterday’s logs, and head straight to the lines. A conveyor needs a quick inspection, a PLC program gets a minor tweak, and a hydraulic valve earns a careful diagnosis. Before lunch, you’re partnering with the team to plan preventive maintenance; by mid-afternoon, a new piece of equipment is being installed—wiring routed, drives tuned, records updated. Throughout it all, safety leads every decision and your work keeps production humming. What You’ll Take On Conduct routine service and corrective repairs on industrial machinery and equipment. Pinpoint and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults. Inspect assets to confirm safe, efficient operation and reduce unplanned downtime. Coordinate with teammates to build and execute maintenance schedules. Document all work—PMs, repairs, parts usage, and findings. Assist with installation, commissioning, and integration of new machines. Uphold safety procedures and maintain an orderly, clean work area. What You Bring Hands-on industrial maintenance background (experience in a foundry or paper mill is a plus). Strong grasp of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Ability to read/interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Sharp troubleshooting instincts and keen attention to detail. Clear communication and collaborative mindset. Flexibility to work varied hours and overtime when needed.
