About The Position

Aegis Worldwide is hiring a Direct Hire professional in Big Lake, Minnesota to elevate equipment reliability across CNC and automated manufacturing operations. Your mission Be the go-to expert for complex diagnostics and repairs on CNC machines, automation lines, and supporting production equipment. Execute preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to minimize unplanned stoppages. Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality to resolve issues across mechanical, electrical, and control domains. Lead root-cause investigations and lock in long-term corrective actions. Support equipment installations, technology upgrades, and validation protocols. Maintain precise documentation: logs, work orders, and equipment performance data. Coach junior technicians; build team capability and standard work. Operate to rigorous safety, regulatory, and quality standards—critical in medical device manufacturing. Recommend and implement reliability and process improvements. Requirements

  • 10+ years of industrial maintenance in manufacturing.
  • 5+ years hands-on with CNC systems (troubleshooting, basic programming, mechanical/electrical repair).
  • Strong grasp of mechanical/electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLC fundamentals.
  • Ability to read and interpret prints, schematics, and manuals.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours or shifts aligned to production priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with automated equipment; robotics exposure is a plus.
  • Medical device manufacturing experience (FDA-regulated / ISO 13485) preferred.
