About The Position

This is a 10-week summer internship at J.Crew Group, focused on supporting Distribution Center performance. The intern will be involved in engineered labor standards, continuous improvement initiatives, and automation and capital projects. The role offers exposure to a fast-paced operational environment and the application of industrial engineering principles to improve productivity, service, safety, quality, and cost. The internship also includes participation in time studies to support the implementation of LMS standards.

Requirements

• Current student pursuing a bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university, with an expected graduation date in 2026 or 2027.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication abilities.
• An analytical mindset.
• Eagerness to learn.

• Product driven individual.
• Ideally experienced in retail, production, or similar fields.

Responsibilities

• Support Distribution Center performance through hands-on involvement in engineered labor standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to automation and capital projects.
• Apply industrial engineering principles and data analysis to improve productivity, service, safety, quality, and cost.
• Participate in time studies that directly support the implementation of LMS standards within the Distribution Center network.
