About The Position

Summer 2026 Internship: Be a Part of the Lynchburg DC Industrial Engineering Team. Join J.Crew Group for a 10-week summer internship at their Lynchburg, VA distribution center. This internship offers hands-on experience in engineered labor standards, continuous improvement initiatives, and automation and capital projects. You will work with cross-functional teams and leaders to apply industrial engineering principles and data analysis to improve productivity, service, safety, quality, and cost. The role also includes participating in time studies to support the implementation of LMS standards.

Requirements

A current student pursuing a bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university, with an expected graduation date in 2026 or 2027.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong communication abilities.
An analytical mindset.
An eagerness to learn.
Available to work on-site from June 1 to August 7, 2026.

Nice To Haves

Ideally experienced in retail, production, or similar fields.
Product driven individual.

Responsibilities

Supporting Distribution Center performance through hands-on involvement in engineered labor standards, continuous improvement initiatives, and automation and capital projects.
Applying industrial engineering principles and data analysis to improve productivity, service, safety, quality, and cost.
Participating in time studies that directly support the implementation of LMS standards within the Distribution Center network.
