About The Position

This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as an Industrial Engineering Intern in Boisbriand with Signify, the world leader in lighting. Assist the Project Manager with various improvement projects, the integration of new production equipment, and workplace health and safety activities. Participate in the implementation of efficient and functional work cells and establish work methods that support their implementation. Use LEAN tools to identify opportunities and propose improvements to production processes. Create detailed drawings showing dimensions, views, and other data required for production. Participate in the study and implementation of quality best practices (office and manufacturing environments).

Requirements

Currently pursuing a university degree in Mechanical Engineering or Operations and Logistics Engineering.
Hands-on experience with LEAN tools and methodologies.
Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SolidWorks.
Good understanding of manufacturing processes.
Strong French communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice To Haves

College diploma (DEC) in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is considered an asset.
Knowledge of AutoCAD is an asset.
