About The Position

The industrial engineering technician will work as part of an experienced technical team to carry out plant engineering projects, primarily in the food and beverage sector, but also in related industrial environments such as the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, or other processing industries. Projects span a variety of industrial environments, including processing operations, utility systems, manufacturing equipment, packaging lines, and energy efficiency initiatives. Assignments cover various project phases, ranging from on-site surveys and technical support to work coordination and commissioning, depending on the nature of the projects. The incumbent will be directly involved in project execution, actively participating in field activities, providing technical support, and coordinating work in industrial settings. The role is part of a context of hands-on projects requiring a sustained presence in the field—typically at the client’s site—as well as involvement in managing multiple assignments and close collaboration with implementation teams. Excellent command of French, a good level of English, and the ability to interact effectively with clients, contractors, and colleagues are required. The position involves frequent travel within North America, which may be short-term or, depending on the projects, extend over several weeks or months.
