Requirements

Currently pursuing a BS-level STEM degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Aerospace, or a similar engineering program through the duration of the co-op session.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

Previous co-op or internship experience in manufacturing environments.
Experience with Root Cause Analysis.
Familiarity with CAD software.
Demonstrated experience driving continuous improvement in manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

Support manufacturing processes, including equipment, floor layouts, work sequences, work instructions, procedures, and workflows.
Conduct studies on cost control, productivity, cost reduction, inventory management, and production record systems.
Review products and processes for quality, safety, and producibility risks, collaborating with design teams to incorporate changes that eliminate risks.
Manage moderately sized projects or processes.
Independently resolve problems that are complex and challenging.
Develop tactical plans to address day-to-day challenges effectively.
Travel occasionally to local Iowa regional sites as required.
