Industrial Engineer -IB4

Foxconn Industrial Internet - FIIHouston, TX

About The Position

This Industrial Engineer role is responsible for leading the analysis and improvement of manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency, throughput, and quality. Key aspects include developing and maintaining time studies, line balancing, capacity models, and labor standards, as well as optimizing factory layout, material flow, workstation design, and ergonomics. The position supports automation and digital manufacturing initiatives, drives labor productivity improvements and cost-reduction efforts, and assists with annual operating plans through capacity planning and headcount modeling. The engineer will identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve OEE and cycle time. During New Product Introduction (NPI), the role involves partnering with Product Engineering and Operations to ensure manufacturability and scalability, supporting DFM/DFA reviews, and defining standard work and process documentation. The role also requires analyzing manufacturing data to identify trends and opportunities, leading Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives, and establishing KPIs. Cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Facilities, and Program Management teams is essential, including supporting root cause analysis and mentoring junior engineers and technicians.
