About The Position

The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, suggesting and implementing process improvements, creating and implementing standard work, leading engineering projects, providing technical support, and coordinating the integration of capital equipment. This role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills, with a focus on efficiency and cost-effectiveness in a manufacturing setting.

  • BS – Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, or affiliated engineering field.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment involving mechanical, electrical, and chemical aspects.
  • Recommended proficiency in Microsoft applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certification or greater preferred.
  • Optional proficiency with Adobe applications, AutoCAD and ESKO.
  • Prefer experience of 2 years within manufacturing environment as an engineer.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain safe working equipment, plant systems, and an accident-free environment, ensuring compliance with all state and federal policies and regulations.
  • Suggest, implement, and justify process improvements for methods, processes, and equipment to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Create and implement standard work for all BCA processes through training, comprehension, and documentation, providing recommendations for improvement based on process control principles, time studies, and value stream mapping.
  • Utilize leadership initiative and project management capabilities to design, direct, and lead full-scale engineering projects, including project/action plan kickoff, Cost and ROI analysis, DMAIC methodology, and design of experiments.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting proficiency in all production areas by working closely with production and maintenance teams.
  • Develop, plan, and coordinate the feasibility assessment, procurement, installation, and integration of capital equipment.
