About The Position
Dauch is searching for an Industrial Engineer to join our team. This position will be based out of our Minerva, OH location. A successful Industrial Engineer will be comfortable working directly on the production floor, takes initiative, and will identify improvement opportunities in real time.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
- 1+ years experience in a manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Develop labor standards by analyzing work samples and methods; measuring work performance.
- Improve labor utilization by studying work methods; testing modifications; designing new methods; recommending job restructuring.
- Improve workflow by studying process flow charts; recommending modifications in workflow, work stations and product; developing new procedures; recommending equipment modifications and purchases.
- Reduces waste by studying methods, equipment, and operator techniques; recommending changes; identifying and analyzing waste.
- Implement work improvement programs by conferring with management and engineering staff.
- Prepare work-analysis information and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
- Complete work improvement projects by training and guiding operators and supervisors.
- Maintain operations guidelines by writing and updating policies, procedures and methods.
- Protect organization value by keeping information confidential; cautioning others regarding potential breaches.
- All other duties as assigned.
