About The Position

The Industrial Engineering Coordinator will conduct time and motion studies for assigned business areas. This position will support the Industrial Engineer with using IE technologies and methodologies to evaluate current processes, equipment, and systems to determine areas of improvement that will enhance the customer shopping experience, product quality, and freshness while eliminating inefficiencies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or degree in Industrial Engineering preferred
Minimum 1 year experience in the Grocery retail industry; or a high school diploma/GED and at least three (3) years of experience in the grocery retail industry.
Experience with Grocery retail operations management and planning preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong verbal and written communication skills, analytical and decision-making skills, and ability to work on cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

Coordinate time and motion studies for assigned business areas.
Collect and analyze data; develop and maintain key performance indicators and metrics.
Aggregate and organize data on time and motion studies to set time standards.
Responsible for measuring and reporting trends observed while in market.
Travel to Store locations and other locations to support process improvement initiatives and improve efficiencies by reducing waste including materials, energy, and other resources.
Work closely and collaboratively with industrial engineer, Operations leaders, and stakeholders to meet project goals.
Communicates regularly with leaders of assigned area.
