Position Summary : The Industrial Engineer is responsible for assisting and developing processes. This effort includes, but is not limited to, evaluating product flow and determining how to improve it. This individual works with the entire to ensure production is running smoothly and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering
  • CAD software experience
  • Ability to work/partner with Cost Accounting and Plant Leadership team
  • Ability to excel in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Well organized team player with proven ability to multitask effectively
  • Ability to create shop floor level metrics to monitor schedule progress and help identify risk areas
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-starter
  • Advanced critical thinking and problems-solving skills
  • Advanced in using Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements process efficiency measurements and tracking methodology
  • Develops, analyzes and maintains capacity planning
  • Evaluates product flow times and develop/implement improvement plans
  • Develops and analyzes data for RFQ process
  • Participates and leads when required in new project implementation teams
  • Implements demand driven principals and strategies that supports operational excellence and long-range plans
  • Creates concise presentation materials to VP and Director level audience
  • Builds strong working relationships with plant personnel and understand plant processes, projects, productivity initiatives, metrics, across numerous facility locations
  • Participates in optimization efforts that include data collection, validation and scenario development
  • Plans and Controls Manufacturing Systems
  • Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies
  • Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
