Industrial Engineer
About The Position
The Industrial Engineer will serve as the primary interface to the German-based headquarters for operational activities, facilitating bidirectional communication between America and Germany. This role is crucial for coordinating the product relocation process from BOMAG Germany to BOMAG Americas, planning optimized material flow including layout mapping, and developing/implementing efficient assembly processes for new machines at BOMAG Americas using global assembly technologies and standards. The position also involves developing, training, and guiding the current team and new members on BOMAG company culture, and adapting strategies to meet global footprint requirements.
Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operational management
- 5+ years of professional experience in industrial manufacturing planning
- Application and knowledge of state-of-the-art production/assembly methods
- Good business acumen and overall commercial sense, experiences with multi-national companies
Responsibilities
- Interface to German based head quarter related to operational activities and the bidirectional communication link between America and Germany
- Coordinate the product relocation process from BOMAG Germany to BOMAG Americas
- Plan the optimized material flow, including layout mapping
- Develop, implement, and ensure efficient assembly of the new machines for BOMAG Americas in time by using the new BOMAG global assembly technologies/standards
- Develop / Train / Guide the current team and new members joining to the BOMAG company culture
- Able to adapt strategies for global footprint requirements
