About The Position

The Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS), Space Weapons and Information Systems is seeking an Industrial Engineer, Mid-Career to support the Minuteman III Guidance and Navigation System Repair (GNSR) program. This job location will be in Heath, Ohio. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. This worksite participates in Boeing’s optional 9/80 schedule rotation. 9/80 is a rotation in which employees can work 9 hour shifts, 8 days per pay period (bi-weekly) and receive every other Friday off. This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). Ability to Obtain U.S. Secret – Final Post-Start

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
5 or more years' related work experience
Experience with Depot Level Repair and Maintenance
Ability to Obtain U.S. Secret – Final Post-Start
U.S. Citizenship Required

Nice To Haves

Active U.S. Secret Clearance
Bachelor or Advanced degree in Industrial Engineering
Experience implementing One Boeing Production System (OneBPS) or similar Lean Production System
Experience working under an AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS).

Responsibilities

Monitors performance, supports production and systems to meet operational and functional requirements.
Develop and maintain plant and equipment layouts, capacity plans, accident prevention measures, and work flows.
Evaluates new techniques and technological developments for integration into the production process and service operations.
Designs, maintains, and optimizes the production system by integrating design, supply base, facilities, equipment, and personnel.
Analyzes data and provides summary analyses and metrics for consultation to leaders and customers.
Develops and implements plans and programs for facility/factory modifications and revisions to operating methods.
Ensures compliance with established industry safety, design standards and ergonomic guidelines.
Lead or support LEAN production activities and workshops.
Interacts frequently with inter-organizational personnel and external customers.
Represents the organization by providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.
