About The Position

The Quonset Point Work Center Master Planning & Readiness Team is seeking motivated Systems and Industrial Engineers who want to work directly within the heart of submarine construction. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-energy team responsible for optimizing how we build Virginia (VA) and Columbia (CLB) class submarines. In this role, you’ll analyze, design, and improve the production environment itself — the facilities, work centers, spatial layout, equipment, and flow paths that drive submarine module construction. You’ll become a key advocate for Operations, helping ensure our production system is ready, efficient, and capable of meeting program demands. This role offers hands-on exposure to the physical build of submarines — ideal for engineers who want to see their work directly influence the product.
