Industrial Engineer - Level 2

This role will focus on process analysis, layout optimization, and the implementation of lean methodologies to enhance productivity and performance. Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations with a minimum 2 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum 2 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 4 years of relevant experience may be acceptable
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Nice To Haves
- Certification or knowledge in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and process optimization principles
- Experience using DraftSight, AutoCAD, or equivalent software
- Manufacturing experience
- Ability to problem-solve, think analytically, and drive decisions based on data.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with cross functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Analyze production workflows, facility layouts, and equipment utilization to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize labor standards, routings, and work instructions.
- Perform time studies, bottleneck analysis, capacity assessments and ergonomic evaluations.
- Identify waste and non-value-added activities; improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
- Create and maintain process flow diagrams, and standard work documentation.
- Design and optimize factory layouts using DraftSight or AutoCAD to enhance production flow.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean principles and methodologies.
