We are seeking an Industrial Engineer - Level 2 to drive manufacturing efficiency, optimize workflows and advance continuous improvement across our operations. This role will focus on process analysis, layout optimization, and the implementation of lean methodologies to enhance productivity and performance. Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations with a minimum 2 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum 2 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 4 years of relevant experience may be acceptable
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification or knowledge in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and process optimization principles
  • Experience using DraftSight, AutoCAD, or equivalent software
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Ability to problem-solve, think analytically, and drive decisions based on data.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with cross functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze production workflows, facility layouts, and equipment utilization to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize labor standards, routings, and work instructions.
  • Perform time studies, bottleneck analysis, capacity assessments and ergonomic evaluations.
  • Identify waste and non-value-added activities; improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
  • Create and maintain process flow diagrams, and standard work documentation.
  • Design and optimize factory layouts using DraftSight or AutoCAD to enhance production flow.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean principles and methodologies.
