About The Position

As an Industrial Engineer (level 2) in Greenville, SC, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence across our production and manufacturing facilities. This position supports key aerospace programs by analyzing workflows, enhancing processes, and implementing efficiency improvements that directly impact performance, cost, and safety. You’ll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, develop innovative solutions, and contribute to the overall success of our operations. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering related field and 1 year of professional experience as an Industrial Engineer or in support of a manufacturing facility
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel including advanced formulas and Pivot Tables
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing resource capacity and manpower plans
  • Experience in analyzing cost and schedule metrics for a manufacturing company
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related engineering, data analytics, math, or science discipline
  • Experience with SAP and a Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
  • Experience with learning curve application
  • Lean and Six Sigma certifications
  • Aircraft production experience

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and design workflows and sequences of operations to boost productivity and reduce inefficiencies across plant and production facilities.
  • Optimize equipment layouts and labor utilization to maximize output and streamline processes.
  • Support cost control and inventory initiatives by conducting in-depth studies and recommending actionable solutions.
  • Develop and implement plans for facility improvements, process enhancements, and operational method revisions.
  • Collaborate with safety teams to support accident prevention initiatives and assist in training programs related to production operations.
  • Work closely with facilities engineering on planning and design of production areas and layout improvements.
