About The Position

This role serves as the primary interface to the German-based headquarters for operational activities, acting as a bidirectional communication link between America and Germany. The Industrial Engineer will coordinate the product relocation process from BOMAG China and Boppard to BOMAG Americas. Key responsibilities include planning optimized material flow, including layout mapping, and developing, implementing, and ensuring the efficient assembly of new machines for BOMAG Americas using global assembly technologies and standards. Additionally, the role involves developing, training, and guiding the current team and new members on BOMAG company culture, and adapting strategies for global footprint requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operational management
• 5+ years of professional experience in industrial manufacturing planning
• Application and knowledge of state-of-the-art production/assembly methods
• Good business acumen and overall commercial sense, experiences with multi-national companies

Responsibilities

• Interface to German based head quarter related to operational activities and the bidirectional communication link between America and Germany
• Coordinate the product relocation process from BOMAG China and Boppard to BOMAG Americas
• Plan the optimized material flow, including layout mapping
• Develop, implement, and ensure efficient assembly of the new machines for BOMAG Americas in time by using the new BOMAG global assembly technologies/standards
• Develop / Train / Guide the current team and new members joining to the BOMAG company culture
• Able to adapt strategies for global footprint requirements
