About The Position

This role involves determining the most effective and efficient ways to manufacture an Aircraft, developing the most efficient ways to use people, machines, materials, and information, and developing management control systems. The Industrial Engineer II will apply statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production standards. This position also assists in financial planning and cost analysis, designs production planning and control systems, and designs methods to ensure product quality. Additionally, they will evaluate the effects of product design changes for management review, action, and control, and coordinate quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximizing product reliability and minimizing cost.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field
  • 3 years in any job title involving experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Working experience with aerospace process and methods including PFMEA, AQPQ, or Production Process Verification (PPV)
  • Working experience in Project Management
  • Applying Production and Quality rules in aviation
  • Experience in lean manufacturing, setting up new industrial facilities in aviation from Quality and Manufacturing Engineering point of view
  • Manufacturing process design according to aviation standards.
