About The Position

The Industrial Engineer II role at Airbus is focused on optimizing aircraft manufacturing processes. This involves developing the most efficient methods for utilizing people, machines, materials, and information. The position also entails developing management control systems, applying statistical methods and mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production standards. Additionally, the role assists in financial planning and cost analysis, designs production planning and control systems, and develops methods to ensure product quality. Evaluating the effects of product design changes for management review and coordinating quality control objectives to resolve production issues, maximize reliability, and minimize cost are also key aspects of this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field
  • 3 years in any job title involving experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Working experience with aerospace process and methods including PFMEA, AQPQ, or Production Process Verification (PPV)
  • Working experience in Project Management
  • Applying Production and Quality rules in aviation
  • Experience in lean manufacturing, setting up new industrial facilities in aviation from Quality and Manufacturing Engineering point of view
  • Manufacturing process design according to aviation standards.
