About The Position

As an Industrial Engineer I, you will be responsible for analyzing and designing production workflows, equipment layouts, and sequences of operations to improve efficiency and maximize utilization of facilities and personnel. The role applies visual management principles to enhance manufacturing line performance, communication, and operational control. Responsibilities include developing and implementing operational improvements and facility modifications; supporting safety and training programs; and collaborating with facilities engineers on planning and design activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required in Engineering
  • 0 years of relevant experience
  • Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of visualization and reporting with Power Bi.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
  • Advance Microsoft Excel
  • KPIs (OEE, cycle time, throughput)

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.
  • May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations.
  • Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.
  • On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods.
  • May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.
