This role may establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations. The Industrial Engineer 1 will conduct studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. Based on these studies, they will develop and implement plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods. They may also assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities. The role involves planning and forecasting company resources (head count, equipment, and/or floorspace) to support customer demand and utilizing or creating metrics to measure the performance of resources compared to the plan.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen or a Permanent resident (i.e., ‘Green Card’) per ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) guidelines.
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship or a foreign person per ITAR.
  • Industrial Engineering Bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of related experience
  • Knowledge in Microsoft operating systems and office products
  • Knowledge in (BI) business intelligence reporting and in AutoCAD
  • Able to work within a fast paced, changing, high energy environment.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently with limited supervision.

  • Prefer knowledge in Cyberquery and Power BI
  • Prefer knowledge in Dashboard creation and Costpoint/TIP
  • Prefer knowledge in Shop floor / Operations Performance Metrics
  • Prefer knowledge in Shop floor scheduling / Job assignments
