About The Position

Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat® dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia, and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for a high energy Power Systems Shop Technician. The successful candidate must have relevant working experience and be able to operate, repair, rebuild, and maintain all types of industrial engine/rental equipment in a fast paced environment and must be able to multi-task. The primary focus of this position will be the maintenance of the rental fleet. The successful candidate must also have good human relations skills and abilities and the personality to successfully communicate and problem solve with customers. Customer satisfaction is of primary consideration.

Requirements

Previous experience with engines, power generation or air compressor repairs
Relevant working experience
Ability to operate, repair, rebuild, and maintain all types of industrial engine/rental equipment
Ability to multi-task
Good human relations skills and abilities
Personality to successfully communicate and problem solve with customers
Demonstrated proficiency in S.I.S. and E.T.

Responsibilities

Independently and successfully diagnose, repair, rebuild, and maintain diesel engines, compressors, pumps and heaters
Perform work on generators in various working conditions
Utilize a laptop computer for information and diagnostic purposes with a demonstrated proficiency in S.I.S. and E.T.
Accurately complete service reports and provide the details to complete work orders
Work overtime as required
Maintain tool requirements
Assist in internal fleet repairs and maintenance on light and medium duty trucks
