Requirements

  • Red Seal, Licensed Industrial Electrician
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with AC/DC drives, PLC and motor control circuits
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and analytical skills
  • An excellent safety and attendance record
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada as a Red Seal Electrician
  • Ability to work shift work and overtime as needed

Nice To Haves

  • A mechanical background in the field of hydraulics, pneumatics and fabrication will be considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and machinery
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure continuous, reliable operation
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs, noting any issues or equipment conditions that require attention
  • Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and using personal protective equipment (PPE)
