About The Position

The Industrial Electrician performs electrical maintenance and repairs during an assigned shift, troubleshoots electrical issues to minimize downtime, completes preventive maintenance, and ensures all work meets safety and code requirements. The role works with plant electrical, electronic, and programmable logic controller (PLC) equipment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
3 years of experience in industrial or electrical maintenance.
Experience working in an industrial environment.
Knowledge of AC and DC power and control circuits, three-phase power circuits, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
Experience with and understanding of proportional-integral-derivative (PID) process control loops and associated equipment.
Mechanical aptitude.
Ability to grasp complex concepts easily.
Outstanding attendance record.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform all electrical tasks safely.
Install, troubleshoot, maintain, test, and repair plant electrical, electronic, and programmable logic controller (PLC) equipment.
Complete corrective and preventive maintenance.
Troubleshoot electrical issues quickly to minimize equipment downtime.
Ensure all work meets safety and code requirements.
