About The Position
As the Industrial Electrician, you will perform fundamental electrical installs for industrial packaging on a daily basis. You will also perform all duties related to industrial packaging for backup power.
Requirements
- 3 years minimum experience as an electrician apprentice or journeyman as either a commercial or residential electrician
- Prior experience as an electrician in either the commercial or residential field.
- Strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service.
- Ability to take direction and work in a team environment.
Nice To Haves
- Specific industry experienced desired or an equivalent college degree
- State certification is preferred
- A two year undergraduate degree from an accredited college preferred
Responsibilities
- Working knowledge of basic electrical installation
- Wiring AC & DC lights, 3-way switches, GFCI receptacles, Load Center
- Bending and sizing of conduit, sizing of wire
- Interpret current NEC codes
- Interpret shop drawings
- Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
- Additional duties as assigned by manager.
