Position Overview Perform electrical work related to the construction, maintenance, and repair of electric power, lighting, and communication systems throughout the plant.

Requirements

  • Valid manufacturing plant electrical license
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in AC/DC circuits, motors, motor controls, PLCs, instrumentation, and communication systems
  • Ability to read and interpret maintenance instructions, safety rules, and procedural manuals
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Ability to solve practical problems and work with multiple variables
  • Ability to interpret written, verbal, and diagram‑based instructions
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of industrial experience preferred
  • Current license holder in one of the following: Manufacturing Plant electrician (PJ) General Journeyman Electrician (J) Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME)

  • Flexibility to work varying shifts or overtime when needed

Responsibilities

  • Install conduit, motors, controls, PLCs, instruments, and service equipment
  • Interpret specifications, blueprints, schematics, and one‑line diagrams
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues across plant systems
  • Operate tools and equipment safely and follow all safety procedures
  • Coordinate with supervisors and other departments to support smooth operations
  • Set up machines and equipment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
