Industrial Electrician / Controls Technician (CNC & PLC)
About The Position
This role is for an Industrial Electrician / Controls Technician who will be the go-to expert for critical equipment, troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical systems, PLC systems (primarily Allen-Bradley), CNC machines, and machine tool systems. The technician will diagnose and fix issues with motors, VFDs, control panels, and components, read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams, perform preventive maintenance, and support equipment installations and upgrades. The position involves responding to breakdowns and quickly getting machines back online in a hands-on, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of industrial electrical experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills with 480V systems
- Experience reading schematics and prints
- Experience working in manufacturing environments
Nice To Haves
- PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen-Bradley or similar)
- CNC or machine tool experience
- Journeyman license or electrical training/apprenticeship
Responsibilities
