About The Position
This role is for an Industrial Electrician / Controls Technician who will be the go-to expert for critical equipment, troubleshooting and repairing CNC machines, PLC systems, and industrial electrical equipment to keep operations running. The position involves hands-on work with various electrical systems and components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of industrial electrical experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills with 480V systems
- Experience reading schematics and prints
- Experience working in manufacturing environments
Nice To Haves
- PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen-Bradley or similar)
- CNC or machine tool experience
- Journeyman license or electrical training/apprenticeship
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems (up to 480V, 3-phase)
- Diagnose and fix PLC issues (Allen-Bradley primarily)
- Work on CNC machines and machine tool systems
- Repair motors, VFDs, control panels, and components
- Read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
- Support equipment installs, upgrades, and improvements
- Respond to breakdowns and get machines back online quickly
