The technician will execute complex panel layouts, perform wire preparation to high standards, and train junior technicians. Responsibilities include resolving complex routing challenges, completing terminations, verifying torque processes, and applying wire management standards. The position also requires performing standard soldering operations, conducting advanced diagnostics on electrical assemblies, evaluating test results, and escalating systemic issues. Functional electrical testing, leading nonconformance investigations, supporting corrective actions, and ensuring data integrity in records are key duties. The role also emphasizes verifying ESD compliance, leading 5S activities, promoting safety, and ensuring assemblies are protected during handling and storage. Document compliance, supporting training, and cross-training for operational flexibility are also part of the role. The technician will actively contribute to continuous improvement and error-proofing initiatives, safely work with live electrical equipment within authorization limits, and support live 480V work under supervision. Training Tier I technicians and communicating clearly across functions to support quality and delivery are essential. The role involves coordinating small work assignments, applying operational processes independently, and demonstrating awareness of business and quality performance indicators.
