About The Position

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their dynamic team. This role supports a high-speed manufacturing environment that operates 24/7. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime, performing preventive maintenance and equipment calibration, and working with Engineering teams on equipment installation, testing, and commissioning. Maintaining maintenance records in CMMS systems, troubleshooting PLCs, AC drives, motors, encoders, and resolvers, and supporting industrial networking systems are also key aspects of the role. The technician will also repair and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyor, and rotating equipment systems, and must be able to read blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical drawings, using various tools and instruments safely.

Requirements

  • Strong electrical and industrial maintenance background required
  • Experience with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation systems
  • Associate degree in Electronics, Robotics, General Technology, or related field + 3 years industrial maintenance experience OR Completion of apprenticeship program + 3 years industrial maintenance experience OR 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience

Nice To Haves

  • Multi-craft experience in electrical, mechanical, and electronics maintenance preferred

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime
  • Perform preventive maintenance and equipment calibration
  • Work with Engineering teams to install, test, and commission equipment
  • Maintain maintenance records in CMMS systems
  • Troubleshoot PLCs, AC drives, motors, encoders, and resolvers
  • Support industrial networking systems including EtherNet/IP, ControlNet, and DeviceNet
  • Repair and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyor, and rotating equipment systems
  • Read blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical drawings
  • Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, hoists, and testing instruments safely
