About The Position
BHS Corrugated is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support operations at a customer facility in Wapakoneta, OH. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, solving problems, and keeping high-speed manufacturing running safely and efficiently. If you have experience in industrial maintenance, electrical or mechanical troubleshooting, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, or preventive maintenance, we want to hear from you.
Requirements
- Experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, millwright, maintenance technician, or similar roles
- Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and/or electrical systems
- Knowledge of motors, drives, conveyors, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial controls
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience with PLCs (Siemens or Allen-Bradley preferred) is a plus
- Corrugated, packaging, paper, converting, or manufacturing experience is a plus — but not required
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial manufacturing equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-related issues
- Diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs to reduce downtime
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Support continuous improvement efforts to improve machine reliability and production uptime
- Maintain maintenance documentation and work orders
- Partner with operations teams to ensure equipment is running safely and efficiently
- Follow all OSHA and site safety requirements
