About The Position

The Industrial Electrical Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and comprehensive electrical estimates and proposals for industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical estimating in an industrial environment, with at least one year of experience supporting industrial water/wastewater projects strongly preferred. The successful candidate will be comfortable reviewing electrical drawings, specifications, and Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to understand project scope, identify electrical and instrumentation requirements, and develop complete labor and material estimates.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience supporting industrial water/wastewater projects strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical drawings, one-lines, plans, and specifications.
  • Understanding of electrical and instrumentation scope associated with industrial facilities.
  • Ability to develop complete and accurate electrical estimates from bid documents.
  • Strong understanding of electrical construction means, methods, materials, and labor requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year of electrical estimating experience in an industrial construction environment.
  • Experience with industrial water/wastewater projects strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of electrical estimating, including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and indirect costs.
  • Experience with AccuBid Classic or similar electrical estimating software.
  • Experience soliciting and evaluating vendor and subcontractor pricing.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing accurate, competitive, and comprehensive electrical estimates and proposals for industrial construction projects.
  • Reviewing electrical drawings, specifications, and Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to understand project scope.
  • Identifying electrical and instrumentation requirements.
  • Developing complete labor and material estimates.
  • Soliciting and evaluating vendor and subcontractor pricing.
  • Complying with all applicable safety regulations, PPE requirements, and Loenbro's Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) policies.
