About The Position
We are seeking an energetic, team-focused and results driven, experienced Industrial Electrical Estimator Professional to join our Pre-construction and Project Management Team. We fully service many industrial facilities including the pulp/paper, chemical, and manufacturing plants throughout the Southeast. This position is permanent and based in Savannah, Georgia.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Associate degree, or technical training and industrial field experience, required
- Six to 10 years of experience in industrial electrical estimating
- Proficiency with the following estimating software: Timberline (Sage 300) or McCormick Systems is preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Hands-on experience with evaluating subcontractors
- Strong experience in MS Office Suite
Responsibilities
- Produce estimates for industrial maintenance and construction projects to include electrical distribution equipment, underground utilities, switchgear, UPS systems, specialty instrumentation, control panels, and MCCs
- Develop conceptual estimates based on preliminary layout and design documents.
- Ability to multi-task and develop bid packages on tight deadlines, and working in fast paced environments
- Maintain continuous, strong business development by interacting with both clients and design engineers
