About The Position
Join the Century A/C Supply team for a paid 12-week summer internship. Our summer internship program will help shape your supply chain management future. You will gain hands on experience and do meaningful work in a rewarding, supportive environment. In this program you will be exposed to operations, inventory, communications, sales, and ERP Systems all in a warehouse setting. At the end of your internship, you’ll present a company project to our leadership and managers.
Requirements
- Must be able to work the full 12-week internship, 40 hours per week
- Must be enrolled in a Supply Chain Management Program or Industrial Distribution
- No prior warehouse experience necessary
Responsibilities
- Gain forklift certification
- Learn shipping and receiving processes
- Understand order pulling and product stocking
- Gain knowledge in inventory management, bin adjustments, and cycle counts
- Exposure to Counter Sales
- Opportunity to do a ride along with outside sales
- Gain knowledge of a premier distribution software program (ERP System)
- Present a company project to leadership and managers at the end of the internship
