About The Position

This contract role involves building and wiring industrial control panels and performing field wiring on custom automation equipment using prints. The position is located in Holland, Michigan, and is initially a two-month contract that can extend. Direct-hire offers may be available after 90 days.

Requirements

• Experience with panel and control wiring.
• Strong ability to read schematics and pay close attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfortable climbing ladders, getting on and under machines, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Able to obtain forklift, aerial lift, overhead crane, and LOTO certifications once on the job.

Nice To Haves

• Journeyman card strongly preferred.
• Vocational training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and wire control panels, including laying out backplanes according to prints.
• Perform field wiring on custom machines according to prints.
• Install cable tray and run power, air, and network drops to fit the line layout.
• Work on circuits ranging from 480VAC to 24VDC.
• Troubleshoot wiring and circuits, and wire according to NEC.
