About The Position

Performs advanced technical work on ICS infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and network components. Independently troubleshoots complex issues, implements security measures, and coordinates system upgrades to maintain standardized, secure environments. Ensures compliance with established standards and supports reliability across multiple facilities. This position requires the employee to work on-site at our Dallas, TX office. Relocation assistance is not available. Candidates must reside within commuting distance or be willing to relocate at their own expense.

Requirements

• An associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure support or administration, including servers, workstations, and networking components.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and network troubleshooting.
• Experience implementing security measures such as patch management, access controls, and backup strategies.
• Valid driver’s license.
• CompTIA Security + or equivalent required within 6 months of hire.
• CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Server+ Cisco CCNA or equivalent.
• In-depth understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking protocols.
• Knowledge of ICS security principles and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, IEC 62443).
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware).
• Awareness of patch management, access controls, and backup strategies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex infrastructure issues.
• Ability to implement and maintain secure configurations across multiple facilities.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Capacity to prioritize tasks and manage projects with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Experience with Industrial Control Systems (ICS) environments or Operational Technology (OT) networks.
• Familiarity with ICS cybersecurity standards (e.g., NIST, IEC 62443).
• Experience coordinating system upgrades and migrations in multi-site environments.
• GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional) preferred certification.

Responsibilities

• Independently troubleshoot and resolve ICS infrastructure issues, including servers, workstations, and network components.
• Implement security measures such as access controls, patch management, and backup strategies for ICS environments.
• Coordinate system upgrades and migrations to ensure minimal downtime and compliance with standards.
• Maintain standardized configurations for ICS infrastructure across multiple facilities.
• Provide technical guidance to Analyst I and assist in vendor coordination for complex tasks.
• Essential personnel are required to report to work when scheduled during departmental and/or emergency situations, including, but not limited to, extended periods of inclement weather when travel may be difficult. This position is essential because, in the absence of sufficient personnel, the plant cannot operate safely.
