About The Position

Skillforce is hiring Industrial Coatings Technicians for active commercial and industrial projects across the Richmond and Hampton Roads markets. We're filling multiple openings for industrial painters, sandblasters, epoxy floor installers, and concrete polishers — if you have hands-on experience in any of these trades, we want to talk.

Requirements

• Experience in one or more: industrial painting, sandblasting, concrete polishing, or resinous flooring (commercial or industrial)
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and stand, kneel, or bend for long stretches
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

Nice To Haves

• OSHA 10
• Experience across multiple coating systems
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Responsibilities

• Prep surfaces: clean, mask, grind, and sandblast
• Apply industrial coatings using sprayers, brushes, and rollers
• Install epoxy, urethane, MMA, and polyaspartic floor systems
• Polish concrete using diamond tooling and surface grinders
• Inspect work for coating thickness, finish, and coverage
• Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE
